For now, proofreading will be relatively relaxed. If a task is completed but not proofread, any editor can feel free to take a look at the page. All pages should be written to sound at least semi-professional and be written in English. If an error is found in a page, proofreaders should consider it fine to edit the page to correct the error since for now the editing team is pretty small and huge edit wars are unlikely. However, since it's always possible to erroneously believe that the page is wrong, it's recommended to get in touch in DMs with the original author to check the accuracy of the fact in question.
Do check to make sure citations are done adequately. Citation guidelines can be found here.
If an issue between editor and proofreader becomes difficult to resolve, expand to ask for more opinions! This is a collaborative exercise, and we will try and pull in the lessons learned from others as much as possible to minimize stress for everyone!
